(Beijing, October 9) The main draw competition of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 ITF Pro Circuit entered its second day at Beijing's Olympic Green Tennis Center on October 9. In the first round of the women's singles main draw, sixth seed Sun Shengnan of China was beaten by Pemra Ozgen of Turkey 2-1.

In the first set, Sun Shengnan won with 6-1. However, from the second set Pemra Ozgen fought back. After breaking Sun's two services, Pemra Ozgen secured her win with 4-1, and then went on to take the set 6-3.

In the third set, Pemra Ozgen exploited the victory and soon won with 6-0.
